Victoria Beckham coming out with Men's jeans! Britney on TV?
So, I read some good news today... Victoria Beckham's line dVb is coming out with men's jeans this August and in the winter will be coming out with men's vintage t-shirts. I'm very excited to hear this! YAY!
In other pop-culture news...Britney Spears will be a guest star on the CBS show, 'How I Met Your Mother.' Hopefully this is a sign that she's getting her life back on track...hopefully.

Spotted...a lizard!!!!!
So Tre, I was being a good son and vacuuming the living room today and thought I'd do a real good job and get the carpet behind the white couches so I'm moving them around and I move one nad there's an ugly lizard underneath one of them! I quickly jumped back and told Dad to kill it. So he got a shovel and trapped it by it's tail and then it disconnected from it's tail and moved and Dad trapped it again and was able to get in to a can and through it out. GROSS!!!!!!!!! I try to be a good person and that happens. Imagine if it was just you and me here and Dad wasn't around to grab it? I'd make you get it since I wouldn't go anywhere near something that ugly. First someone gets shot on our street, then the other week someone gets stabbed, now there's a lizard in the house. I tell you, we have to move.

Spotted...Traci and Kurt will move to New York
Just thought I'd make sure you're aware of the fact that when you come home you and I can spend 1-2 years at home before we move to New York. I need to be in a place where I won't have to drive. Besides, you can go to school there and I cam go to a performing arts school there. It's decided. We're going to move to New York before I turn 25.

Spotted...Kurt is back from Vegas
I've returned from a busy weekend in one of the busiest towns, Las Vegas. To sum up the weekend I can say without question that it was definitely a 10. But to give you a better understanding of the event I will provide you with pictures and a detailed outlook on the events of this past weekend.
Friday:
Five friends (Me, Shauna, Tiffany, Jason and Helen) arrived in Las Vegas around seven and checked-in to our room at the MGM hotel. The night has already been decided, we have been put on the guest list at hot spot club, LAX. Once we got to our rooms we were met by Ian who has already settled in nicely at his dorm at UNLV. We all got ready and got some room service so we could go directly to the club from our room. Along the way to LAX at the Luxor hotel we stopped by Fat Tuesdays were we got drinks to get a good mood in us before we hit the dance floor.
LAX, was busy but luckily being on the guest list we didn't have to wait as long as most people and we didn't have to pay either. The club was beautiful, but way too crowded. It's come to our conclusion that there should really be a weight limit for people who go clubbing because with a small dance floor, certain people take up more room than they should be allowed. Call me bitchy, but I'm just being honest. After an hour or so of being caught on the dance floor between hippos and whales we decided to leave and walk around instead. We hit up a bar and got one more drink (a mai thai for me) and ended our night at the cafe in the MGM, grabbed a bite to eat and went up to our rooms around 4 and went to bed.
Saturday:
Woke up around 11 and went to get lunch near Ian's dorm. Afterwards most of the day was spent shopping. What was my biggest win in Vegas? It wasn't money, but it was a Ben Sherman coat on sale. Original price was $279, it was then reduced down to $160, and was an additional 50% off of that. So a $279 jacket, I got for a mere $80. I definitely felt like a winner that day. After hours of shopping we ate dinner and got drinks and headed up to the hotel room where we spent a good portion of the time being drunk and gossiping with one another. However, a noise complaint forced us to leave the comfort of our hotel room. But it wasn't too bad because we ended up finding a great bar in our hotel. The West Wing Bar; walking in the bar has an immediate 'Sex and the City' feel to it. So in to pay tribute to 'Sex and the City' and to my sexuality I got myself a cosmopolitan. We spent another few hours sitting at the bar and talking the rest of the night away.
When we got back up to our room Jason fell asleep and the rest of us spent another couple hours talking. 4 in the morning came around and we fell asleep, but not before laughter took us over and we had to spend a few minutes calming down and for some, soberin gup.
Sunday:
Woke up around 10, we got ready and check out of our hotel. We then went and ate lunch at a small cafe and then dropped Ian off at his dorm and said our goodbyes to him. On the way home we passed the time by laughing and playing games and ended up at home around 5 which concluded our Vegas weekend.
To conclude, the weekend went great and I got a great jacket out of it.

Spotted...Sex and the City
Coming May 30, 2008, the day before I leave for my two week trip to Japan I will get a nice send off by one of the most anticipated movies of the year, 'Sex and the City.' Judging from the teaser trailer released, it looks like this will be a can't miss movie for one of my favorite TV shows.

Spotted...Britney Spears hosting a Beverly Hills party next month?
Check this out; according to People magazine Britney Spears is going to be hosting a party, The Scandinavian Style Mansion. She hosted a party for the brand once in early December. "Britney has said 'yes,' to hosting it." the founder said. "I am beyond excited because the experience she gave everyone in December was amazing. She absolutely made my event."
Maybe the founder of this party needs to catch up on his daily news. Considering the path she's been on lately, having her host a party may not be the best idea. And who knows? By next month Britney might end up being in a rehab facility if this path continues.

So it looks like the new semester will turn into a good time, and not just for me, but for my best friend as well.
Kurt- I not only have some interesting classes lined up (American Cinema, The Biz, Theatre 100, Oral Communication of Theatre), but I also will be starting my internship with TV Guide next week. TV Guide is like the holy grail to a person like me who loves TV more than anything. So it will be a fun experience and hopefully will make some good contacts.
Ian- Best friend Ian has just left recently for Las Vegas to start his first semester at UNLV. His classes will begin soon and from the sound of it, I think he'll be having a great time, but he's gotta be careful, it's not called 'Sin City' for nothing. And even better news, turns out his dorm has girls out numbering the guys. Have fun in Vegas Ian!
In other news, it turns out that Remora Drive is slowly turning to Wisteria Lane. This morning at 7:50 AM a woman was stabbed on my street. Not sure of the details, but let's just say that with a shooting a few years back and a stabbing now, it seems that Remora Drive might soon become the most talked about area of Rowland Heights, although in a city that no one knows about how big of an honor is that really?
To conclude this first post and to fill you in on my life, this weekend is the last one before I start the Spring Semester and start my internship, so what am I doing? Celebrating of course, Tiffany, Jason, Helen, Shauna and I will be heading down to the Vegas strip to check out Ian's new home town and party it up the way one can only do in Las Vegas. So check back after this weekend, cause I'm sure there will be a lot to fill you in on, but maybe not too much since what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
